Explore our premium range of direct replacement blowers, multi-stage vacuum systems, and advanced centrifugal equipment engineered for mine dewatering and industrial air handling.
Modern mineral processing demands rigorous environmental stewardships and optimal resource recovery metrics. The management of mine tailings has transitioned from historical wet impoundment methods to progressive dry stacking. At the core of this dry-stacking revolution is the Tailings Filter Press Pump system. These specialized slurry handling assemblies facilitate the high-pressure filtration of thick, viscous, and abrasive mining wastes, transforming liquid slurries into transportable dry cakes while maximizing water reclamation loops.
Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Co., Ltd. (ZCBC) stands at the pinnacle of this technological transition. Boasting over 50 years of design, engineering, and manufacturing experience, ZCBC provides comprehensive engineering packages designed to endure the demanding wear profiles of modern tailings processing facilities. Under our overall developing strategy: "Develop main business, pioneer new fields and innovate, cooperate to be a great company", we deliver industrial pump solutions and air handling machinery that redefine efficiency limits.
Our operational scale and financial robustness validate ZCBC as a highly dependable tier-1 OEM partner for global mining operations.
During the initial phase of the filter press cycle, the Tailings Filter Press Pump must deliver high flow rates at low pressure to quickly fill the filter chamber. As the chamber fills and the filter cake builds up, resistance increases dramatically. A high-efficiency slurry pump, such as our famous TZJ series of new type slurry pump, must adjust to this change by shifting its operating point to high-pressure, low-flow delivery without experiencing seal blowouts, excessive wear, or thermal overload. This requires variable frequency drives (VFD) and optimized impeller geometries designed specifically to mitigate internal recirculation and cavitation.
Once the filter chamber is full, high-pressure air is introduced into the filter cake to push out remaining moisture. This cake blowing process requires continuous, oil-free, high-volume air stream supplied by industrial-grade Roots blowers (such as our SSR, 3H, or ZZ series). Any oil contamination in the air line will degrade the filter cloth and contaminate the reclaimed process water. Our oil-free Roots blowers ensure optimal cake dryness and cleaner output, while lowering total operating expenditures (OPEX).
Certified by international regulatory bodies, we employ state-of-the-art PLM, CAM, and CAT systems to verify the performance of every unit.
ZCBC has established provincial-level enterprise technology centers, focusing on Roots blowers, multi-stage centrifugal systems, slurry pumps, and MVR evaporation units. We utilize high-precision CNC machining centers, five-axis machining tools, three-coordinate measuring instruments, and ultrasonic flaw detectors imported from Japan and Germany to guarantee tight structural tolerances.
We work in collaboration with top academic institutions including Tsinghua University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China University of Mining and Technology, and Shandong University. These partnerships provide reliable technical support for our ongoing innovations in wear-resistant alloys, dynamic seals, and vibration dampening technologies.

We are a third-level enterprise for safety production standardization. Our operations are fully certified under:
With 69 authorized patents (including 5 invention patents) and 2 software copyrights, ZCBC continues to lead the industry in introducing innovations such as countercurrent cooling, anti-sticky wear protection, and advanced shaft sealing systems.

Our tailing filtration solutions are engineered to meet specific localized demands across various key mining regions.
In the high-altitude copper mines of Chile and Peru, water reclamation is critical. ZCBC slurry pumps feed high-volume automated membrane filter presses, maximizing dry stack efficiency and minimizing environmental footprint.
Operating in remote environments requires extreme durability. ZCBC's double-casing slurry pump designs feature ultra-hard alloys to resist abrasion from quartz-rich iron ore tailings, reducing unplanned downtime.
In northern and western China, coal washing plants rely on ZCBC high-efficiency roots blowers and slurry pumps to handle high-density coal slime, ensuring clean coal yield and compliant refuse storage.
In response to global demands for reduced carbon footprint, ZCBC is actively shifting its engineering roadmap towards smart, low-emission technologies. We are integrating IoT sensors into our pump and blower packages to enable real-time tracking of flow rates, temperature, and vibration. This transition facilitates predictive maintenance, helping plant operators identify issues before they lead to catastrophic equipment failures.
Additionally, our ongoing research into advanced metallurgy focuses on developing ceramics and hyper-eutectic alloys that offer up to three times the service life of traditional high-chrome irons. By reducing friction and optimizing fluid dynamics, our next-generation systems aim to cut energy consumption in heavy-duty slurry transport by up to 15%.
At ZCBC, we believe that "Cohesion produces strength, unity brings glory". Our team includes researchers enjoying State Council special allowances, municipal project doctorates, and senior engineering experts. We also operate a dedicated postgraduate workstation to cultivate the next generation of industrial designers.
Our design team provides custom 3D and CAD drawings within 24 hours of receiving draft concepts, ensuring precise fitment for specialized processing plants.

Technical guidance on selecting, operating, and optimizing tailings filter press pump systems.
Sizing requires understanding the specific filtration cycle. The pump must meet high flow requirements at low pressure during the initial chamber filling phase, and then shift to low flow at high pressure during the compaction phase. Using Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) along with a wide performance curve pump design, like the TZJ series, is crucial.
High-chromium alloys (typically 27% to 35% Cr) are standard for impellers and liners due to their hardness. For acidic or corrosive mining applications, duplex stainless steel or elastomer liners are utilized to protect against chemical erosion.
Oil particles in the air stream can blind the fine pores of the filter cloth, reducing filtration efficiency and requiring frequent wash cycles. Additionally, oil contamination of the reclaimed water can interfere with downstream flotation chemical balances.
Our systems include options for custom countercurrent cooling, auxiliary pre-heating systems, low-temperature structural steels, and synthetic lubricants. These components ensure stable cold-starts and reliable operations in regions like northern Canada and Siberia.
