Founded originally as Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Works, Shandong Zhangqiu Blower Co., Ltd. (ZCBC) has accumulated over 50 years of design, manufacturing, and technical innovation experience in the industrial fluid and air handling fields. By pioneering domestic advancements, ZCBC set up two Sino-Japanese joint ventures and established a US branch, making it the first company in China's blower industry to establish an overseas footprint.
As a leading enterprise in the local machinery sector, the market share of our dominant products has consistently ranked at the top of the industry. Under our overall developing strategy: “Develop main business, pioneer new fields and innovate, cooperate to be a great company” and working concept “Do the best”, ZCBC has grown into a modernized enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales, and EPC services. Our solutions span Roots blowers, centrifugal blowers, industrial fans, MVR evaporation, concentration & crystallization systems, and high-performance industrial pumps, including advanced Pipeline High-Pressure Slurry Pumps.
Modern global mining operations, dredging networks, and metal refining systems are progressively shifting from road transport to high-pressure pipeline hydro-transport. This shift is driven by strict environmental mandates to reduce carbon emissions and dust pollution. Consequently, industrial procurement departments are searching for cost-effective, high-reliability pumping installations.
However, searching for a "cheap" pipeline high-pressure slurry pump does not mean compromising on technical standards or material integrity. In high-pressure pipeline logistics, "cheap" refers to the optimization of the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). High-pressure pipeline systems run continuously; therefore, an initially cheap pump with a short impeller lifespan will lead to costly downtime and maintenance, making it more expensive in the long run.
Effective procurement relies on minimizing downtime. By using high-pressure slurry pumps fitted with wear-resistant ceramics and advanced metallurgy, operators can reduce replacement cycles and decrease the cost per ton of transported solids.
Standardizing key wet-end components allows multi-site operations to share spare parts inventory, lowering storage overheads and simplifying maintenance procedures.
Procured machinery must meet regional standards, including CE, standard pressure vessel directives, and local mining safety certifications, ensuring seamless project approvals.
High-pressure pipeline slurry pumps are critical to major mining operations and mineral processing plants. When transporting tailings, concentrates, or coarse waste over long distances, slurry pumps must overcome high hydrostatic and friction heads, which requires high operating pressures (often exceeding 5 MPa to 10 MPa).
In copper, iron, gold, and phosphate mining, transporting concentrate from the processing plant to ports or smelters via pipeline is the most economical method. ZCBC's slurry pumps, designed using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD), manage high solid concentrations (up to 70% by weight) while minimizing internal turbulence and wear on the pump casing.
Integrating these pumps with MVR evaporation, concentration, and crystallization systems allows operators to recover process water, supporting zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) environmental mandates.
As environmental regulations tighten, mines must transport tailings to distant, lined storage facilities. High-pressure slurry pumps move these tailing slurries over hills and valleys without requiring intermediate booster stations. This reduces risk and lowers the overall capital cost of the pipeline.
Using wear-resistant ceramic pumps (such as the TZJK-TD series) in these pipelines helps prevent unpredictable casing failures, protecting local ecosystems from potential pipeline leaks.
To maintain a technical advantage in slurry transport, ZCBC invests heavily in material science and hydraulic efficiency. Our engineering teams have developed specialized solutions to address the main causes of slurry pump wear: impact abrasion, sliding abrasion, and chemical corrosion.
Traditional high-chromium cast iron casings often suffer from accelerated wear when exposed to acidic or alkaline slurry. ZCBC's ceramic slurry pumps use silicon carbide (SiC) composite linings. This material provides hardness second only to diamond, offering reliable resistance against sharp, high-velocity ore particles.
Operating at high pressure increases the risk of seal failure, which can lead to product loss and pump damage. Our patented countercurrent cooling systems and engineered expeller dynamic seals lower the pressure at the stuffing box, extending the life of mechanical seals.
Our manufacturing facilities utilize advanced software systems, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP), and Computer-Aided Testing (CAT), to ensure all components are machined to precise tolerances.
ZCBC has built a strong research and development team, which includes experts receiving special allowances from the State Council, senior engineers, and doctoral researchers introduced through Jinan City's talent initiatives.
By establishing a dedicated "postgraduate workstation" and partnering with leading institutions—such as Tsinghua University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China University of Mining and Technology, and Shandong University—we maintain a reliable technical foundation for our ongoing product development and innovation.
Our products and facilities are certified to international quality, environmental, safety, and energy management standards.
In 2005, ZCBC relocated to a modern industrial park covering an area of 430,000 square meters. The facility features advanced production setups and administrative offices, providing a solid foundation for cooperative international projects and large-scale manufacturing.
On July 7, 2011, the company was publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 002598). By 2020, parent company Zhang Drum achieved an operating income of 1.5 billion yuan and a profit of 150 million yuan.
The company has 20 holding companies and operates four manufacturing bases across China: Wuxi (Jiangsu), Dongguan (Guangdong), Chenzhou (Hunan), and Jinchang (Gansu). Our research and development centers are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, and Wuxi.
Corporate culture is central to the development of a large-scale enterprise, reflecting its underlying management principles. ZCBC respects individual values and aims to create a workplace that fosters employee potential and ownership.
By aligning employee development with corporate goals, we drive continuous innovation in our management methods and product offerings. Through joint ventures and cooperative projects, we are expanding our presence in international markets, including the United States, Germany, Italy, and over 70 other countries and regions.
We are also active in expanding our business into three main industrial areas: intelligent manufacturing, environmental water treatment, and the development of new materials.
